Parent and Child Climbing - £10 Per Child, Parents FREE
This school holidays Alter Rock Climbing Centre will be running Parent and Child Climbing sessions from 12pm – 4pm every weekday.
These fun and informal sessions are lead by Alter Rocks fully qualified instructors and give Parents and Children the chance to do an exciting and interactive sport together.
Brave children are asked to put their trust in Mum and Dad who will be taught how to control the rope system to keep their children safe on the climbing walls. Grown ups get to keep their feet firmly on the ground while their young adventurers try to climb to the heavens in St James Church.
We can't think of a more exciting activity for boys and girls during the school holidays in Derby.
There is no need to book, simply turn up and climb any time from 12pm.
One adult can supervise a maximum of two children.
£10 per child (parents free), including safety equipment and climbing shoe hire.

Alter Rock Indoor Climbing Centre is a local family-owned business founded 5th May 2008. We have over 600sqm of climbing walls, comprising of roped climbing and bouldering for all ages and abilities.
As you know participating in sport has huge benefits for the mental and physical well-being of adults and children, and climbing promotes the key element of team work.
