Advanced Indoor Climbing Course
This course is designed to enhance the skills of the basic climber by giving them informal instruction when it is required by the participants. The emphasis will be on climbing techniques and rope skills. By the end of the course climbers should be able to progress towards lead climbing depending on their abilities.
As well as lead climbing, the Advanced Indoor Climbing Course aims to develop mental preparedness and personal climbing technique. Also to create a better understanding and usage of indoor climbing equipment and rope systems. The course requires previous basic climbing experience. Participants dont need to climbat any particular grade, although you must enjoy climbing and be willing to learn something new!
All participants must know how to belay safely and competently as well as tie in, must have a passion for climbing and must be registered with Alter Rock.
Participant Numbers: Maximum 6, Minimum 2 students per session. You can book onto this course as an individual
Days and Times: Wednesdays, 6:30 – 8:30pm, (10 Hours over 5 Weeks)
