Alter Rock provides Additional Support sessions in association with Umbrella Carer Support.

The aim of these sessions is to provide climbing activities for children with learning difficulties or physical disabilities with the aid of our experienced staff.

At Alter Rock, we believe that climbing should be available to anyone who wants to try it. Able bodied or not, there is something for you.

Our staff are experienced in looking after children and vulnerable adults with conditions such as ADHD, Aspergers, Autism and Down's syndrome. We are proud to say that we can provide roped climbing and abseils for wheelchair users.

Our building is fully wheelchair accessible with disabled facilities and friendly understanding staff.

We are currently running sessions twice a month on every first and third Thursday at a cost of £10 per person. We aim to cater for children and young adults.

Sessions Run from 4.30 - 6pm & 6.30 - 8pm.

Please note booking is essential, please let us know of any wheelchair users when booking.
